We love yogurt in this house, you will always find some in our fridge. We use it for all sorts of different things. Unfortunately we have a small fridge, and we have found that the containers yogurt often come in take up a lot of space that we just don’t have to spare. iögo now has several of their yogurt varieties available in large pouches, and we are loving them!
The iögo pouches are available in:
– iögo Original: vanilla, and strawberry flavours
– iögo Probio: vanilla, and strawberry flavours (25% less sugar than original)
– iögo Greek: plain, and vanilla flavours (thicker texture, and high in protein)
The new iögo pouches are in a larger format than what most parents are used to. In our family we were accustomed to having food pouches for our preschooler to eat. Think of these yogurt pouches as an amped up version of those. Each pouch comes with an easy pour spout on the top that is resealable. As you pour out yogurt the packaging contracts in on itself. You can also help squish it all to the top like you would your child’s mini food pouches. This ensures that you are using up every bit of yogurt inside. The pouches fit nicely into the drawers of our fridge, leaving valuable shelf space free for other things. We don’t have to worry about yogurt spilling out from the package because we know it is closed securely in the resealable pouch.
We love the spout and screw top so we can control how much yogurt we pour out each time. We can tip the pouch to pour some into the blender for a smoothie or into a measuring cup to bake. We also prefer these pouches over the usual plastic cups because of how they reseal. We have not had an issue with yogurt drying out near the top of the spout like can happen with yogurt cups. All we have to do it twist the cap back on, and pop the iögo pouch back in the fridge to be used next time.
We love to use the different iögo yogurts in our smoothies for breakfast each morning and even my preschooler is able to pour the yogurt from the pouch without making a mess! We also use it for making our favourite fruit dips which are perfect for the spring and summer season. All of the yogurt varieties have a nice creamy texture and have incredible flavours. My family found that all of the iögo yogurts were wonderful to have on their own, or paired with foods like granola at breakfast too. In case you were wondering, yes the pouches are recyclable, and they take up less space in the recycling bin.
iögo yogurt pouches are going to be the new yogurt staple in our fridge! What are some of your favourite things to make with yogurt, any snack ideas I can make for my preschooler?
This post was brought to you by iögo but the images and opinions are my own.

iögo is a big hit in my house and we buy it from Costco but it only has the regular stuff. Need to search out the other versions as well

my son LIVES for pouch yogurt but i’ve never tried this brand. definitely going to check it out!
discoveryparent says
Definitely check out this brand, it’s become an instant favourite. The yogurt is nice and smooth, which is great because I sometimes find greek yogurts grainy if that makes sense. Not this brand!

This is a first for me hearing of iogo!!!! I’m loving that one with the probiotics so I will have to look for these when I’m shopping!

Probiotics in yogurt is a must for us. So great for tummies.

I’ve seen these resealable yogurt pouches and wondered if they’d be messy! Sounds like I’ll have to grab some next time I’m at the grocery store.
discoveryparent says
Definitely grab some! They have been a game changer in this house.

I love treats in pouches! I’m not sure if we have this brand by me but it looks yummy. I wish they had this kind of stuff when we were kids.

that’s awesome! I’ve never seen yogurt in pouches before but that makes it so much simpler because my son NEVER eats a whole container full! That smoothie looks delicious!

I have never heard of iogo before!! Would really make smoothie making easier in the morning! Those pouches are the Best!!
Natasha says
Well that looks handy. I like yogurt in protein shakes. Can you share how much sugar is in a serving or pouch?
discoveryparent says
Depends on what flavor you get. They all use cane sugar which is a nice surprise. The strawberry is 22g, the Greek is 7g, and the Vanilla probio is 17g of sugar per 3/4 cup (175g).

This is awesome! I didn’t even know they made yogurt in a pouch! This would be so much easier to use when I am in the mood for a smoothie, than buying a whole container, with most of it ending up in the garbage.

I love yogurt too. I buy some every week. I don’t know about pouches though because I like to get every single bite. Lol.

I love how fast and easy these are. My boys don’t have the longest attention spans so these are the perfect little pick me up. I think they just love drinking out of straws hahaha!

i’ve never seen pouch yogurts before but what a great idea, i always end up getting other bits in the yogurt when using different spoons to scoop it out!

I look at these every time we are at the grocery store! Now I’m going to have to give it a try!

I bought it 10 pouches the other day-the kids ate 3 in one day! They are convenient and yummy but the portion control aspect is an issue in our house! The kids also suck the yogourt directly from the pouch, which can be expected from a bunch of boys!
