How far along? 26 Weeks, 6 Days as of now (the photo above is at the start of week 26)
Gender: a little girl, bring on all things pink!
Weight Gain/Loss: Right now I have no idea. I have my next check up later this week, so I will find out then if I am starting to gain now. Last I knew I had gained nothing. This pregnancy I have noticed I am not as hungry as I was with Evie. I also just spent a week at camp, working in the kitchen, standing on my feet all day when on shift, and walking up and down some hills. It will be interesting to see what’s up.
Maternity clothes? Oh yes! I am loving my tummy bands, and looking forward to wearing my “Thanksgiving pants” this year in October just like Joey on Friends. I am still trying to find a good pair of maternity jeans that work for me. So far no luck. I am also looking for a nice maternity dress that works for me. I just purged my closet. There are now 3 bags of stuff to donate. I put some off season stuff away and it feels so much better to know when I go into the closet it is just items that work for me right now.
Stretch marks? The ones from Evie are starting to be more visible now, and I am totally okay with that.
Belly Button in or out? It’s still an innie, but I can see the bottom. It is so odd to be able to see the bottom of my belly button. It also hurts a bit because this time it seems like my belly button is being stretched more.
Sleep: I crashed for a solid nights sleep the day we got home from camp. It was glorious! Sadly I am back to the usual routine of waking at 2:30am and 5:30am because of needing to do a washroom waddle.
Best moment this week: I can basically say that there are only 3 more months to go. Which means getting to work on getting Evie’s big girl room figured out, and changing the nursery around for this little baby girl. I can’t wait.
Worst moment this week: Baby girl hardly moved for 3 days last week and it really freaked me out. Those times make me very anxious. I have been told several times that babies often slow down before/during a growth spurt. It seems it was exactly that because the last day I got lots of comments on how it seemed like my tummy suddenly popped out.
Movement: When this girl moves, she makes big movements and solid jabs and kicks to my ribs. It hurts.
Food cravings: I really wanted a nice, cold glass of milk to day but was sad to find the milk in our fridge was expired and not drinkable. BLAH!
Miss Anything? Not being so hormonal. Sorry hubby and Evie… thank you for the extra cuddles.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing right now, I am feeling so good.
Have you started to show yet: Definitely popped this past week.
Labor signs: I’ve noticed braxton hicks much more this pregnancy.
Wedding rings on or off: We had some seriously hot weather for awhile, and I was getting a little bit worried but it fit just fine the whole time.
Looking forward to: My doctors appointment this week and seeing how things are going. I can’t wait to hear her heartbeat on the doppler, it is my favourite sound. I can honestly say I am not looking forward to the sugar level test this week. BLAH!

You look great! Two things I really don’t miss about pregnancy? The night waking and when baby doesn’t move! Glad she’s eh okay but man can it ever be nerveracking!

I LOVE pregnancy updates. I seriously wish I had done this when I was pregnant with all of my kids. Even through the losses, I think it’s important to savior and remember each day we are blessed to be pregnant.

Gosh I love reading pregnancy updates. My little one is almost 11 months and we have SUCH baby fever already! Actually, it never really went away! LOL! It sounds like you’re having a great pregnancy though! Enjoy it mama, you know how fast it goes!

You look great. Love the Thanksgiving Pants from FRIENDS. 🙂
Look into “kick counts” at this stage in the game. Fetal movement DOES decrease markedly as the baby gets bigger but as someone who lost a full term baby to stillbirth, I encourage moms to do the kick counting to be able to tell what is normal for your body/baby so that you can detect when something is wrong.
Best wishes!
