Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. A little tradition we have is having new books to read for Valentine’s Day. The girls are both bookworms, so it’s perfect to not have to worry about a sugar overload and instead fill our home with more great books. Though I’m sure there will still be some chocolate treats.
This is a sweet little story for parents to read to their children on Valentine’s Day. It takes you on a journey all across the country and lets your kids know how much you love them. From spending days together playing out in the sparkling sun of Victoria to how your love for them is as gigantic as the Toronto Zoo. The illustrations are bright and cheery and done in a way that gets the attention of young kids. This book will fill your heart with love.
Have a kiddo who is not sure about the different ways people show they care or love each other? This is a fun way to help them understand that even though a Valentine is often given on February 14th there are plenty of ways to give “Valentines” every day of the year. We were all smiling as we read through this story.
