Anyone looking for some last minute stocking stuffers, or maybe just something nice for in the bath to help de-stress from last minute Christmas shopping? Here are some things you might want to get if you are a fan of incredible bath products.
LUSH! I was beyond excited when this box arrived on my doorsteps. I am a huge fan of Lush and many of their products. I first came across their little store in a local mall about 4 years ago, and I have been spoiling myself with items from there ever since. You cannot miss when a Lush box arrives, you will be able to smell the contents before you even open the package. One of my favourite things is that a lot of the packaging is recyclable or reusable right away
As a Mom getting some down time is often not until your little one(s) are in bed. I love to have a nice hot bath to relax. I always feel human again after. So these items were greatly welcomed.
Snow Fairy Shower Gel is one of the very first items I got for myself from Lush, since then I have often put it in as a stocking stuffer for family and friends. It is extremely sparkly, and the smell reminds me of cotton candy. My only wish is that the smell would last longer after you have used it. This item lathers up really well, you definitely can follow the rule of “a little goes a long way”. If you love something that is very sweet smelling, this is it.
Baby Frosty is incredibly cute, he even has instructions inside for how to retie him if need be. Baby Frosty contains two bath bombs, a Butterball and Father Christmas. The Butterball is perfect if you are looking for something to make your skin feel very smooth. It’s described as being creamy cocoa butter with the scent of vanilla musk. Its very subtly in smell. My skin felt so much better after soaking in a bath with this, the winter weather had been doing a number on my poor skin. My skin was softer, and re-hydrated it seemed after using this. The Father Christmas bath bomb made me laugh as the character face on it is so cute and funny. Its a jolly looking Father Christmas. This one would be a fun treat to use with munchkins, perhaps a Christmas Eve bath time surprise? When put in the water it goes from a pinkish red colour, to a bright green! It has a more citrus scent to it, which is refreshing to smell.
The Melting Snowman is incredibly cute, and looks even more like a poor little snowman meeting his melting demise when you put it in the warm bath water. This little item may become my go to item to help my skin in its battle against the winter weather. It definitely is a luxurious bath melt. It contains cocoa and shea butter, and almond oil. All great items to help make skin feel incredible again. Add in some chocolate chips for the eyes and really how can you go wrong? A tip I was told later, was to mix the melting snowman with a bath bomb for an extremely luxurious bath. I am going to have to try that in the future.
The Christmas Penguin is extremely cute, and each one looks a bit different when you see them in store, because they are hand made. Be sure to pick out the cutest looking one. I found it to have a very citrus smell to it as well. Oh the bubbles! Bubbles, bubbles everywhere. You could probably use half the penguin at a time because this little guy creates so many bubbles. Which makes the penguin a great deal if you do decided to split it in half for two uses.
All of the items were wrapped inside a beautiful limited edition knot wrap. The one I have is called It’s Christmas Deer, and features cute images of Rudolph surrounded by a Christmas wreath. These wraps are great for wrapping gifts. My favourite thing though, is wearing it as a headband. Its the perfect little holiday hair accessory, especially for the days that I have not felt like really doing my hair and just want it tossed back some how. The Santa Baby lip tint is a very classic, Santa suit red. This stuff is super pigmented so a little goes a long way, and the little container will last you awhile! I like to add a little bit of a clear gloss on top to make it shiny. The top layer was a bit hard, but give it a bit of a stir and you will find that it is actually very creamy. I prefer using a lip brush to apply it, so that I don’t end up with a bright red finger from applying it that way. I would suggest going in store and trying it on to see if this is the right red for you. It has a subtly cola flavour to it, which remind me of the chap sticks many of us would use when we were kids. It always leaves my lips feeling better than before.
Disclosure: I was provided samples of these items by LUSH in order to do reviews on them. The opinions shared here are completely my own.
