Discovering Parenthood

This blog was created originally as a way of documenting our days in a journal style. Since then things have changed, this blog has grown, and so has our family. We are now a family of six, and we have expanded our blog to be more than a journal entry. Here you will find a blog about parenting, motherhood & fatherhood, children, travel, and many other things we love. We’re still sharing about life as we know it and a little bit more.

– TAMARA + FAMILY- 

Tamara loves writing, taking photos, and photo editing. Jason is my #InstagramHusband and is often the one behind the lens. We met 15 years ago after we were both encouraged by our groups of friends to try an online dating site. It seems our lives had been crossing paths for years, and it was finally time for them to collide. We have been inseparable since our first date, and we got married 3 years later.

Blogging became an outlet for Tamara’s emotions in dealing with miscarriages, as well as sharing about the triumphs and failures of being a new mom. This blog has become a bit of an online journal of what life has been like since becoming parents.

We have three sweet little girls; Evie our oldest, a feisty redhead, Addie our middle kiddo who is laid back and adventurous, and Orie who is full of personality and joy. Most recently, we welcomed the surprise of our lives, our son Truie. We’re still getting to know him, but he is full of smiles and loves to babble at us always. Through this blog, we are documenting being a family of six and so much more. From cancer entering our lives when we least expected it, to missing out on field trips because of work, going through IUI for our third child, and our love of traveling to Disneyland. We hope to be back to Disneyland soon.
