With the news that we are expecting another little girl, my hubby was thrilled. He had said all a long that he would love another girl, in part to the fact that it would mean that we didn’t need to shop for a lot of things. While this is some what true, Evie is a winter baby and this little girl is arriving in the fall, there are still some items that have found there way onto my wish list. Every little one needs a few special to them items.
baby blanket / fox / romper / headbands /
moccasins / serenity star
I’ve noticed while looking at items for my next daughter I am loving grey, yellow, blue, and pink tones. I guess neutral with pops of colour. It’s really got me pondering what I am going to do with the nursery this time round. I’m torn between colour, and going really simple with just black and white.
You cannot go wrong with a gorgeous baby blanket, and I love this one with its hint of soft pink. Our sleep sheep was a huge help with Evie when she as a newborn. It was the one way we could settle her easily and get her to sleep. I adore the fox that has since become available. It will hopefully be finding its way into our home. I’m a huge fan of rompers for little girls because they are so versatile. You can layer them with pants or leggings, and a sweater if its cool out. There is something just so sweet about a little girl wearing a dress romper. It is no secret that I love moccasins. They actually stay on feet. So when I found out that crib mocs were an option I was thrilled. It’s a great way to dress up little outfits easily. The serenity star I heard about more recently. I have been looking for a subtle night light for the nursery, and the huge bonus is this also plays white noise or lullabies. It has a clock face, but also shows you the current temperature in the room. The start also changes colour depending on if the room is too hot, too cold, or just right. I’m definitely intrigued by this little star. Every little girl needs some fun bows to wear. I’ve have already started a little collection of newborn headbands for this girl.

The only things on my “wish list” for baby 2 was more muslin swaddling blankets and more cloth diapers. Now with boy number three, the only thing I want is new clothes because I am so bored of the boys’ wardrobe! I’m not really a products person. I’m not overly picky. Is rather save the money and get hand me downs! I don’t need special stuff.

I agree, swaddle blankets are so helpful! I managed to get a two more a bit ago for a crazy deal. Love the kids swaps. My diaper stash is getting a bit of an overhaul too, we have a few diapers that are on their last legs so time to replace them. You need to pm me your mailing address I know what I’m getting your next little one!

I love your wish list. So sweet. I have an insane amount of bows for our daughter. They are so much fun…

I’m glad I am not the only one that goes overboard with bows for their daughter. I am so looking forward to my two girls being in matching outfits with matching headbands.

I adore the serenity store. It is the top thing on my list that I am keeping an eye on to find a great deal.

I like everything on your wish list. A good, soft baby blanket is a must!

I was a major blanket baby when I was a kid, my daughter Evie has her stuffie she adores, so I am going to be ready with a stuffie and a blanket for the next baby just in case.

I also think the gray and yellow color scheme is so cute. I bought new nooks and I still need a new white noise maker for baby #2.
discoveryparent says
Yay! Love that you are liking the same colour scheme. Definitely check out the serenity star, I love that it is a white noise maker that can be set for a time limit or play continuously. It can also be plugged in or run off of batteries.
