Anyone else grow up with Lip Smacker being a favourite thing when in school? Everyone had them, some even had multiple on a little elastic that helped keep their favorites together. I still remember having a soda pop flavour and a cherry flavour. It was always a sad day when your favorite ran out or you realized it had gone missing.
The Disney fan side of me was ridiculously excited when I saw Lip Smacker now has Tsum Tsum. I couldn’t wait to get some, yes, I am a big kid at heart. Lip Smacker was incredibly kind and even sent some to me to take along on my trip to Disneyland. Little did I realize was how thankful I would be to have them.
Each Lip Smacker Tsum Tsum comes with a lip balm pot and a Tsum Tsum character on top. Of course, each one has its own unique, special edition flavor. Lip Smacker did a great job of pairing up the different flavors to the Tsum Tsum. Daisy is Glamorous Cotton Candy, Minnie is Strawberry Lollipop, and the Cheshire Cat is Plumberry Wonderland.
Now, I warn you once you get one of these Lip Smacker Tsum Tsums, you’re going to want to collect more of them. The soft topper Tsum Tsum has become a bit of a collectible toy. I had a multiple people stop me and ask where I had gotten the ones we had with us in Disneyland. My girls have both already wanted to claim the Tsum Tsums for themselves.
While in Disneyland they helped save me a couple times to keep my youngest entertained. While waiting in line for rides she happily clenched a Lip Smacker Tsum Tsum in each hand. They were also on permanent rotation in the tray of her stroller. Do be vigilant because the lip balm pot is small. My toddler has not figured out how to open things like that yet, but still, keep an eye if your youngster has one in hand. Eventually, I got smart and took the Tsum Tsum topper off and put the lip balm pots in a baggy to keep them safe.
Bringing these fun Lip Smacker to Disneyland added a little something special to our trip, taking something simple like lip balm and turning it into something fun that went with all the Disney magic. With the weather there, my lips have a tendency to get chapped easily. Not on this trip, these were always at the ready in my diaper bag… or in my kiddos fist. It made a huge difference.
I love that Lip Smacker has these incredibly fun Tsum Tsum characters. I know we will be adding more to our collection, I’m already planning to add some to my daughter’s stockings at Christmas time and birthday gifts.
Did you grow up with Lip Smacker? What was your favorite flavor?
