It was like the people at Canvaspop read my mind because a little bit back they reached out to me to see if I would like to do a review and giveaway. It was perfect timing because we had just had Addie’s newborn photos taken, and with it there had been several photos of both girls captured that we loved. I was debating which photos I wanted to have printed and framed. Well, I don’t know if I can go back to just using frames now after seeing the photo of the girls printed on canvas.
The ordering process through Canvaspop is very simple. The difficult part was selecting which photo. Once I figured that out, I followed the steps on the site. Picking that I wanted a canvas print, and then what size. There are several frame options to pick from, or you can have the print arrive to you rolled if you want to take it somewhere yourself to be put on a frame. You can also select a black, white, or photo wrap edge. Next I uploaded the image I wanted to use. After that you have even more options such as effects, picture perfect, and advanced image options. I really appreciate that there is also a spot to leave design instructions if you are concerned about anything at all. Canvaspop wants to make sure you are thrilled with your canvas. My favourite part of this process is that you can receive a free digital proof by email. This helps you to see what your canvas print is going to look like and confirm it is what you want before it is printed and mailed to you.
It took just over a week for my canvas print to arrive at my door. I was a bit concerned about how it would look upon arrival, we’ve had some recent damage to boxes sent to us. So as you can imagine I was worried the print would arrive with a hole in it or dented. Canvaspop was a step ahead of my concerns. The print arrived in a much larger box than I expected, and the print inside was wrapped in bubblewrap to protect it. There was no damage to my order.
The canvas has a piano hanging wire on the back to make hanging up the print to display very easy. There are two little rubber feet on the bottom side of the print to protect the print and your walls, they help to keep the print from sliding around on the wall, and of course there is a hook to hang it from. I really appreciated that all of these little things were provided because it meant I did not have to run to my local supply store with a preschooler and newborn to find them myself.
Now we just have to finalize where in the house we want to display this gorgeous picture of the girls.
