Over the weekend Evie and Jason both developed a cold. It is also the first time Evie has had a full fledged cold like this. She has had maybe 2 other times where she had what appeared to be the start of a cold with a runny nose, but we actually think it may have been connected to her teething, as it went away within a day or two.
Not this time though. This one is sticking around. She has a runny nose, and a wet cough going on. Thankfully she is still a very happy little girl, though we can tell she is not 100% herself. Night time we hear the odd cough. Poor girl, yesterday at dinner she was falling asleep in her high chair and then again she was curled up on the couch and falling in and out of sleep. We tucked her into bed early last night, and are praying she gets a good nights sleep so her body can kick this cold.
If you pray, please pray for her cold (and Jason’s) to go away. I think I may make some comfort food by way of soup tomorrow.
On another note… Have you gone over to VancouverMom.ca and cast your vote for the Top 30 Vancouver Mom Blogger? We are into the final countdown, as voting will be closing on Friday at noon. So please vote, share, ask your friends and family to vote. I am so thankful for all the support my blog has, and the wonderful group of family, friends both old and new who support me and my blog.
