We happened by chance to learn that our local Disney Store was having a Halloween Party. We love all things Disney so this was right up our alley, we decided to sign the girls up to take part on the very first Saturday. Did you know that they had this going on for Halloween time?
THIS IS HALLOWEEN, THIS IS HALLOWEEN
Every Saturday there is a Haunted Halloween Party happening at 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm. Being on the RSVP list is required if you think this might be something your kids would enjoy definitely contact your local Disney Store and see if they have any spots left. The girls woke in the morning excited to get dressed up as one of their favourite characters; Evie was Rapunzel and Addie was Tinker Bell.
We arrived early to the store so that we could wander around inside a bit, plus the girls love seeing the different little video clips that play in the same area they can colour. Soon enough, there were other children arriving dressed up as all sorts of Disney characters. There’s a small video that plays as a cast member guides the kids through a story that involves some Disney villains. I would say that this event is best for kids between the ages of 3 to 8.
Each of the kids who took part received some treats and a Mickey Mouse pumpkin light up bracelet. The bracelet has quickly become a favourite of the girls. Somehow we missed that they had them in their room when they went to bed. Needless to say, we heard all sorts of giggles as they had the lights twinkling on their bracelets, filling the room with all sorts of colours on the wall. The bracelets were definitely the highlight of the event and will be great for the girls to wear on Halloween night to help them be visible in the evening.
I’d love to know who is your all-time favourite Disney character, or who your kids are dressing up as for Halloween.

OMGosh this is too cute! We don’t have a Disney store near us and I really wish we did. I love that you can get some magic right in your own backyard.
