We’ve become huge fans of using Netflix in this house. So much so it’s got us considering getting rid of cable. We love that it is jam packed with a wide variety of everything from kids shows, to documentaries, and so much more.
One thing we really enjoy is when Netflix comes out with their own original series. Our current favourite is Dragons: Race to the Edge. If you loved the How to Train Your Dragon films, you are sure to enjoy this series. I’ve already watched my way through the series and have really enjoyed it.
Now this series takes place in-between How to Train Your Dragon, and How to Train Your Dragon 2. So some things have not occurred yet in the series, but this original series helps fill in some gaps in-between. This series takes you through a story that leads you right into the second film. I was wondering how Hiccup ended up with a map of different areas after the first movie, but now I know. Hiccup and Toothless all find themselves discovering new dragons and lands along side their friends… Astrid, Snoutlout, Fishlegs, Tuffnut, and Ruffnut.
If you have kids who love a good adventure series, pop some popcorn or get your other favourite snack ready and enjoy this series together as a family.
Disclosure: I am a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam and received membership, and other perks, in exchange for my opinions, in return for posting Netflix updates and reviews, however, all opinions are my own… and I really do love this series!
