Fall is right around the corner and we are definitely ready for it. Cooler weather, leaves that have changed colour, and crunch under your feet as you walk, and so much more. We will be continuing to have outdoor adventures as a family. One of those adventures is happening this weekend. We are going to be taking part in Ecokeepers Discovery Day in Stanley Park that is happening this Saturday, September 17th.
EnviroKidz by Nature’s Path wants you and your kids to get outside and explore! You can experience this program yourself and maybe learn something new as you go on a geocaching treasure hunt in Stanley Park. Is there a better place to go geocaching? Stanley Park has been named one of the most beautiful parks in the world!
I am incredibly excited to attend this with both of my girls, someone please remind me to bring the jogging stroller or a baby carrier. It has been a few years since my husband and I have gone geocaching, having the opportunity to start again with our daughters is going to be incredible. I am looking forward to wandering the lush forests in the park as we search out each geocache location.
Pack your raincoat, just in case there are some showers, and get ready to go on outdoordor treasure hunt!

A BIT ABOUT ENVIROKIDZ:
Envirokidz is a kids’ and family-focused brand that goes beyond feeding young tummies – it is about feeding positive change in young minds. It was born out of a desire to bring delicious organic food to kids and help to empower them to make their world a better place. 1% of all Envirokidz sales support animal habitat conservation and education programs around the world. My daughter loves getting their different products because they taste amazing and she loves the animals on their packaging, you cannot miss it on store shelves.
The Ecokeepers program is about getting kids outside and into nature, as well as discovering the world around them. Studies have shown that kids who spend time outdoors are:
- happier and less stressed
- see a boost in classroom performance
- have enhanced problem-solving skills and imagination
- are leaner
- can experience a reduction in ADHD symptoms, and
- better understand the need to nurture nature and how animals, plants and people are tightly connected
Free to camps and schools, Ecokeepers provides an interactive explorer activity that harnesses a kid’s natural curiosity and sense of discovery. It blends the modern day, GPS enabled treasure hunt of geocaching with the traditional explorer guidebook to document notes and pictures. There is even an e-version parents can do at home.
