We have been trying to get out and enjoy the sunshine every day. Even with all of us feeling a bit off with a cold, it was still good to get out. Lots of vitamin D right? I’ve mentioned before that we live in a townhouse but are blessed with a yard. We are so thankful for it because Evie loves to be outside, we can take her outside and she can run around in our fenced in yard. We often her hear asking for “walk” when she wanted to go out, and she will grab her shoes now and try to put them on. If we are not fast enough to get her outside we are in trouble, we are also in trouble if she doesn’t get to stay outside as long as she wants to be out there. The only thing we need to figure out now is how to keep her from opening the gates as she can reach and open them. Might have to get a lock of some sort that we can quickly put on and take off as Strata would not approve of a permanent lock.
For now we keep a close eye on her, but she seems perfectly content to play and try and catch ants.
Our little veggie gardens, and Christmas tree are growing nicely. The peas are even
blooming, I didn’t know they did that? Inside we still have some more things including strawberry plants, but I’m not sure if those will be ready any time soon they are still very small.
This will probably become a regular thing for us to do. Go outside every day and enjoy the sun during the summer when I am home from work. Now if only my hubby would get some gas for the bbq so we can have people over for a bbq soon! *hint hint* I was also hinting at how the ice cream maker attachment for my mixer would be lovely. Have to keep an eye out for sales. I think I may also make this outdoor area of the yard my blogging office when I’m home, and over the summer.
Does anyone else have a 1 year old who tries to climb fences? This crazy kiddo was on a mission to get the ball in our neighbors yard and was not taking no for an answer, we even brought out her own ball. She started to climb the fence, not just one but two fence posts up. Don’t worry we were very close by, I just had to get a photo of her determination.
