My little love. How much you have grown, and changed in 5 months. We are wishing for time to slow down, as Mommy is fearful of you being nearer to 6months, and then soon you will be closer to being a year than you are to having been a newborn.
Addie has had several firsts recently. Like her first hospital visit, and first x-ray. Poor little girl has gotten through her first cold pretty well, especially with it almost turning into pneumonia. This did however cause her to want to nurse constantly at night time, which made Mommy very tired. We are all very thankful that she is on the mend, and her smiles, and giggles are back. She has also just recently started trying different foods. Like her big sister, the first food she truly tried was avocado. Well, she must love it because she kept taking the spoon from me to get the avocado in her mouth faster.
Nap time is still a struggle with you. While you will sleep through the night, you do not like to have naps in your crib. You’ll gladly nap in someone’s arms, but why will you not let us put you down for a nap? We have had one successful nap time where you did sleep for 2hrs. So maybe, just maybe we are getting to you being better with napping. I sure hope so.
Her personality is starting to show more each day. She loves a good laugh. She is also very observant, and inquisitive. This little girl is so going to be my shopping buddy at Christmas time, and I know she will be okay because she will love watching all the hustle and bustle. Addie seems to have a love for music. She will start to bounce a long to songs when she’s in her bouncer, or she can even be heard to babble to the music.
Addie already seems to be trying to keep up with her big sister. She is always watching what she is doing, and can be found trying to get her attention. Thankfully Evie adores her too. Just the other day when Addie was on the floor for some tummy time she was trying to get her knees up and bum up into a crawling position. I am so not ready for crawling to start any time soon, but I guess I better be!
Little girl, please slow down. There is no need to rush growing up. For now we will continue soaking up every moment of you being small. How we love you dear, sweet little Addie.

How cute!! Time goes by too quick! I can’t believe my oldest nephew is almost in middle school. I remember the day he was born like it was just a few years ago. So weird. Your baby girl is so cute! Congrats!
