Some families will be wrapping up Spring Break with their kids this weekend, others are looking for something to do. What about going and flying over Canada? Now, now, I’m not actually talking about really booking and paying for a flight across Canada and back all in one weekend. If you are in the Vancouver area, you can check out FlyOver Canada. They actually have a spring break special that has been extended to April 3rd. You can save 25% off children and youth tickets!
I have never experienced anything like this, not even when we went to Disneyland and could have gone on Soarin’ Over California. I have a bit of a fear of heights, but they just may have to be faced. I really like the idea that you get to explore from the west coast all the way to the east coast of Canada, and everything in-between. In total its a 30 minute experience, with an 8 minute flight. You cover 6000kms of our gorgeous country in one trip. Now that is some efficient traveling.
I have been given the opportunity to go and check out FlyOver Canada, and we will be sharing a full review on it once we go. I also get to share this opportunity with one of you. Who would like to go and experience this adventure? FlyOver Canada has very kindly provided 4 general admission tickets for me to giveaway to a Discovering Parenthood reader. Simply enter through the rafflecopter giveaway below.
Good luck everyone! I hope you have all had a wonderful Spring Break with your family.
Looks like a fantastic idea for the weekend!
It would be a great thing to do on the weekend.
I would love to ride this! I have done the Disney Soarin’ Over California one and it was great!
Good luck Leanne! Aren’t you heading back to California soon?
I think Vancouver is beautiful. The mountains, the water, the buildings. Perfect!
I agree Jeannie, Vancouver really is beautiful. Our license plates say it all.
We went to Disneyland in October and we rode the flying over California ride at least 5 times. Our girls were obsessed with it. We’ve been meaning to take them to this one
We just did Disneyland and didn’t make it on it once. oops! It’s on my list for next time.
We love the Island! My husband mostly loves Tofino for the surfing!
I have never tried surfing, but always hear the Tofino is great.
I love sitting in a field in Saskatchewan. Maybe it’s the memories it brings back.
I can only imagine the incredible memories that would come back from that.
I love BC (although I haven’t made it past Alberta). And, I love Vancouver Island! May favourite place to go camping and exploring.
I may be a bit biased but I really do think we have the most beautiful province.
Would love to see this with my kids. So amazing I have heard.
I have heard the same. Good luck to you Maria. Thank you for entering.
I haven’t been too far in Canada but love Victoria and Whistler.
What beautiful places you have explored to! I love both Victoria and Whistler.
I haven’t been to many provinces, but I live BC and have never been disappointed in any if the BC parks I’ve visited.
Terri, don’t we live in one of the most incredible places?
Would love to win this!
Best of luck to you Jen.
I love Rathtrevor in Parksville. Lots of fun for the kids!
I am going to have to look into that area. Always looking for new areas to explore, and add to our travel list.
I have great things about this experience!
Do tell!
Lots of fun! Great prize!
It sure would be. Good luck.
Oh this would be so fun!
Good luck Mona!
I would have to say my favourite place in Canada is Vancouver Island. I love everything about it! All those commercials on TV lately about Newfoundland & Labrador have made me want to visit there, though!
I really want to go out East too. I am a huge Anne of Green Gables fan. I need to explore the island much more.
I would love to take the grandchildren!
Good luck Pat! That would be a wonderful adventure with them.
I loved growing up in Victoria, about 2 blocks from the ocean. My DD is growing up 2 blocks from the woods. I think we have both been very lucky.
That is incredible that you both have had the best of each. I’d be so torn if I ever had to pick one or the other, it’s why I love BC. We are not far from either.
this would be so fun!
It would! Good luck Stephani.
i like vancouver’s sea wall
I agree, it is incredible there. We were out that way just the other weekend. I got pooped on by one of the great blue herons in the trees there right now.
Whistler is my fave place
Whistler is my go to for a quick get away. I love it up there, any time of the year. Just wish we had a longer winter season this year.
My favourite place is anywhere on Vancouver Island
I must confess I have only really been to Victoria. Time to go exploring.
I went to the Yukon last summer and it was absolutely stunning!
I love flying do it all the time
I thought I had entered this PEI!!!!
My favourite is Whistler.
