Freshly Picked Moccasins {Giveaway}

freshly_picked01 (1)It’s September, and it seems like switch to fall was turned on this morning. Our baby girl is due in 6 weeks, but could be here much earlier than that… or so I hope. I have started to put together the diaper bag with all the items that I have specifically for her. One item that I knew would be a must for her to wear, especially with her going home outfit, was a pair of Freshly Picked moccasins. Freshly Picked has the perfectly sized little crib moccasins that I know will stay on her feet. Since Evie was a baby I have loved Freshly Picked moccasins, and while she may not have received her first pair until her first Christmas, the collection of moccasins we have for her has grown. I cannot wait for our next little girl to start wearing them right away. 

freshly_picked02Crib moccasins are a size 0, which means they fit from newborn to about 3/4 months old. I adore how petite they are. Even my toddler has been heard saying “aww, they are so little” and expressing her excitement for baby sister to get to match her by wearing moccasins. I have been loving different shades of blush for this little girl, so I was thrilled to see that Freshly Picked had the perfect colour of crib moccasins called Petite Blush. It’s not too in pink, like a baby pastel pink would be. There is a bit of a cool undertone to it which I really like for the fall arrival of our little girl. 

All Freshly Picked moccasins have an elastic opening that is easy to slip onto feet, and they are easy to take off. The best part though is that they stay on feet. This was an issue we had with baby shoes when our first daughter was a newborn, everything always fell off her little feet so she ended up wearing layers of socks. Sadly, even the socks fell off. I know I won’t be having to worry about keeping track of where my baby girls shoes are with these, I know they will be on her feet. 

All of the moccasins are made with 100% genuine leather, which is durable. I appreciate how soft these are for little feet of all sizes, from newborn to toddlers learning how to walk. No stiff leather that may cause blisters. The leather is perfectly flexible for little feet to move in, or for those who are learning to walk to be able to feel the ground under their toes.

Once our baby girl grows out of these beautiful little moccasins I will be placing them back in the little bag they arrived in and putting them into a keepsake box. I am looking forward to adding photos of her wearing them into her keepsake box too.

    i’m not 100% sure, but i think i’d pick the “timp” color! i like them because i have a pair in a color almost identical made by minnetonka and i think it’d be real cute to match my boy 🙂 & i love the kids moccasins are super easy to get on and off!

    My 2 year old lives in moccs! They’re so easy to get on and off and they’re comfy. I would definitely pick the gorgeous Salt Water Taffy ones for her!

    I think I’d pick the grey cameo print shoes for my son. This is my favorite style of shoe for him. They are easy for me to get on his fat little feet, but hard for him to take off. They are also very easy for him to walk in.

    I still don’t know if I would choose mint color for our newborn or camel for our toddler. My favorite thing about the moccs is the print that stays forever on the sole. I can totally see me saving the moccs until they day I die, just so I can see my son’s tiny feet printed on them and flash back to all the memories we have created <3 I don't want him to grow up EVER!

    I love the Fp Moccs, because they make “mom life” a little simpler. They easily slip on…and stay on (in our experience)! They’re also gorgeous and nicely made!!! We’d definitely pick one of the Oh Joy collab prints…probably cake walk.

    i love the stay golden suede.i had a pair of moccasins made for my son when he was 2 by his great aunt who was a native moccasin maker..they are for indoor outdoor and have been through my 3 children and 3 grandchildren and now i have 2 more grandchildren both 4 months old(not twins) born 34 hours apart.).they are timeless and durable ,an investment well worth money spent.i paid $25 for them in 1984.i chose the stay golden suede as i like the classic look and are gender neutral.
