Evie’s first year of preschool is over. When we looked back at her first day of preschool photos we could not believe how much she has changed. She’s taller. The baby face is gone. Her hair can now be put into a ponytail… no more mullet!
While she was a bit apprehensive at the start of preschool, that all quickly changed. She made friends and didn’t hesitate when running into the class full speed ahead, and with a massive smile on her face. We knew she was in the perfect place. She needed preschool, and she thrived being there.
Hearing her singing all the songs she was learning while there brightened our day. During the party days she was a bit shy and never wanted to perform, but she still loved it. This past year she was also invited to her first birthday party outside of our group of friends and she had an incredible time.
Next year she is off to a different preschool. It was a very difficult decision to make, but one we had to do with my going back to work in the fall. We are a one car household and I take the car to work with me. We had to find something closer so that Jason can walk with the two girls. We are sad to move on, but we know she will do well.
For now… school’s out for Summer!
