It might seem silly to do a whole write up on a dress, but for me and my hubby it is a reminder of a very special day.
My older sister sent me the dress her daughter wore for our wedding as a flower girl. It has been sitting and waiting in the closet for some time now. On Sunday, for church my husband tried it on her and it finally fits.
There is something very special about having a little girl, and her being able to wear one of the flower girl dresses. I may or may not have cried when I saw her in it.
Anytime you can revisit a special day is terrific. It would be interesting to someday have pictures of your little girl and her cousin both in the same dress to show your daughter.
