Little ones are always watching. They are so incredibly observant. The other day I was getting ready to go out and doing my makeup. Evie came in and reached her little hand up and grabbed my blush brush off the counter. She then went over to a mirror we have sitting on the ground in the bedroom, as we have not hung it up yet, and she pretended to put blush on. It was a very cute little moment. It was also a good reminder for me to always be a good example to her, to the best of my abilities.

Those moments are always good reminders. Our three-year-old is known to pick out words in conversations that aren’t always the best for toddler’s to know. Not swear words or anything, but phrases like “what the heck”, or “holy crap”. Not really phrases I want him using right now. It always reminds me I need to be careful what I say but also careful with the type of entertainment that we allow in the house.

Its true! They catch so much and are a great reminder of how we should be presenting ourselves.
