This little goober wanted to sit beside me on the couch so she climbed up all on her own. She had a little snack of kale chips in a bowl that I held for her as she got up. She accidentky dumped her bowl and its contents ask over me after I gave her the bowl back. I waited til Jason could come back down from the office, as he was on a call for work, and asked him to bring the vacuum to help in cleanup. This mama couldn’t be upset at all with her because as soon as Jason said “say sorry” and showed her the sign she did it! Manners matter in this house. It made us so happy to see her finally do this sign. While the context may be hard for her to understand, this is the beginning of her learning how to say it.

Congratulations!! How terrific she is signing SORRY, too! Your cutie pie is doing so many things now, and you’ll find the ASL signs come faster and faster as she grows. Way to go mommy & daddy for sticking with it and showing those signs with your words 🙂
