I have been attempting to get more organized. I recently put a schedule for cleaning on the whiteboard that hands in the kitchen, and today I sat down and made a meal plan for the rest of September, and all of October. I had several people comment on Facebook that they would like to see what sort of ideas I had. So here you go. I may still switch some things around and edit. It will be a great template to have. Of course things like gettogethers with friends and family will come up, but that is alright.
Since Jason and I got married I have bought the MothersWord calendar from Costco when it comes in. Its been great for putting up when we have appointments or other things like that, now it displays what’s for dinner in the evening. This will help both Jason and I, so that either one of us can just start prepping dinner and know what is available for the meal. Just be sure to mark the calendar in pencil so you can change things around if need be.
I already feel more organized, and less panicked for the coming weeks. Which for me, that is huge! I’m hoping that every Saturday, we can do one big grocery shopping trip to get what we need. Especially so I know what I have in the fridge and freezer for the week. We might do one big Costco shopping trip to get key things like meat, and bread.
Now to organize the chaos in the fridge and freeze and take inventory so that I can keep a running list of what we have and what has been used up. I feel like I’m working back at my old job.
