My dear friend and I getting a photo with Santa, this is my first ever photo with Santa! We were on our way to pick our a Christmas tree.
Growing up, I was never taken to go see Santa at the mall, and to tell him what I would like to get for Christmas. My sisters and I were not brought up to believe in Santa, but that doesn’t mean we do not appreciate the fun that his character brings to the season. The above photo is my first photo with Santa! My friend and I were picking out a Christmas tree for her home, when we saw Santa and decided to get a photo with him, we actually got a little Polaroid photo to keep. I still have it in my keepsake box. When Jason and I started dating, we randomly decided to get a photo taken with Santa while we were at Metrotown one evening. The photos there were by donation to the Burnaby Christmas Bureau. Somewhere I have the colour photo, but I couldn’t find it and for whatever reason it was scanned into the computer as black and white.

Jason and I got a photo together with Santa our first Christmas season together, we decided randomly to get one while at Metrotown.

My sisters and I at Bright Nights in Stanley Park. It snowed a lot this year, and my one sister ended up wearing my mittens on her feet because she didn’t wear warm enough socks.
One year while at Bright Nights in Stanley Park my sisters and I went around the park counting all the different Santa figurines on display, when we stumbled across this huge statue of Santa. We now have a few pictures of us with this Santa over the years, and I believe the one above is actually my younger sisters first photo “with Santa”. Jason and I used the photo below as our Christmas card photo one year because we liked it so much. We’ll probably be continuing this little photo tradition when we go again this holiday season, this time Everly will get to be in the photo with us.

Same Santa at Bright Nights, but a different year. If you can find this Santa while there, I love getting a photo with him.
