You better believe I was super excited when I started noticing Disney movies popping up on Netflix Canada. There may have been some cheering that left my husband wondering what was going on; I’ve been envious of my sister in the States and her Netflix with all the options she had for Disney… not any more, we’ve got Disney movie on ours now too!
I am feeling like I am getting to relive a bit of my childhood, and get to share it with my daughter thanks to there being several classic Disney movies available. Now not everything is being released at once, some have already been on Netflix since the 1st of this month, more will be added on the 15th.
I am bringing back Disney movie night on Sundays thanks to Netflix Canada. Some of the movies that are available I have yet to get on DVD, so being able to watch them at the click of a couple buttons on my remote is amazing. Did anyone else grow up watching Disney movies on Sunday nights? I can remember rushing to get into pajamas, and my mom having treats all ready for my sisters and I. We’d all wait as a family for the classic Disney theme and intro to go across the screen and wait patiently to see what was playing. All this, back in the good ol’ days of commercials every 10 minutes, and you knew you were getting to stay up late on a school night! I know our preschooler is going to love some of these movies as much as I did.
Now Netflix Canada, all I ask is that you make my search for all the Disney movies easy, and put them together in one category. That would be the cherry on top of this amazing news.
Brave mice Bernard and Miss Bianca embark on a mission to save a missing orphan who sent an urgent call for help from the depths of Devil’s Bayou.
Disney’s song-filled animated comedy follows a lonely Hawaiian girl named Lilo who adopts a funny-looking dog and doesn’t realize it’s a wacky alien.
When Madame Adelaide leaves her fortune to her prized cat Duchess and her Duchess’s kittens, her butler plots to steal the money and kidnaps her heirs.

I love The Rescuers.
Do you have a favorite of all time Disney movie? For me, it has to be The Sword in the Stone.

you should be able to search “Disney” in the search bar š
