A little look into what our Easter weekend was like. It was fun, busy, filled with time spent with family and friends. We also started Good Friday off by going to an early morning service at a local church that had me in tears it was so moving and such a good reminder of what Easter is truly about. We then headed to lunch where Evie got to colour eggs for the first time. Sunday morning we went to our church, and then off to my family’s tradition of having an Easter picnic. It seemed like many others had the same idea too. It was a bit cold, but the sun made it nice out. Poor Evie developed a bad diaper rash over the weekend and by Sunday evening we decided to take her to paediatric emergency, and left with a new prescription for a cream. So thankful to have been in and out in around an hour and a half. We ended Easter long weekend with a visit out to Aldor Acres farm to visit all the baby animals, and go for a hayride. Evie was very happy when we finished the scavenger hunt and she got to select two chocolates.
