During our trip to New York, I lost track of how many messaged me on Instagram asking if I would please share our itinerary. It took me a little bit to put together, as I went through our photos from each day and double checked out steps.
We kept things very open for what we did each day and really didn’t plan anything specific til the night before when we would discuss what where we wanted to go the next day. We had composed a list of “must go to” places to ensure we checked bucket list items off our lists for New York.
From there, we made sure to keep in mind what was near what as we planned to use the subway and walk, a lot! We averaged 23,000 steps a day.
Here it is, our NYC trip 5-day itinerary.

I haven’t been to New York and it really looks like one of the most amazing places to go to.

I have always wanted to go to NY. It’s on my bucket list for sure. I wasn’t sure if it should be one with the kids or not with the business, but it seemed like your family had a blast. I have four young boys 5 and under. I’m thinking it might have to be when they are a little older.

I love that you had a mixture of tourist attractions and off the beaten path places too. I know when I’ve gone on day trips that one day is not enough. This will be super helpful for when I decide to visit NYC again.
