There is a little secret farm in Langley, that I only found out sold my favourite flower just recently. I have driven past this farm many times but never thought to stop. That all changed when a friend of mine mentioned that this little farm has peonies! Did anyone else know about Flowers From a Country Garden? You have my attention now. Not only do they have peonies, but they have them at a great price. $7 per bunch. I wanted to get down there as soon as possible because I was hearing that they were almost sold out of these gorgeous blooms. We spent a little bit of time wandering the property and letting Evie smell all the flowers, after we purchased some of the lovely light pink and dark pink peonies. Next year I will be going earlier so that we have more selection. I’m now dreaming of one day having a yard where I can plant peonies so I can enjoy them every year around this time and not have to venture out to a farm, or buy them from a floral shop. A girl can dream…
Speaking of dreams, I have been in a bit of a dream like state since yesterday afternoon. Voting wrapped up shortly after noon on Friday for the VancouverMom.ca Top 30 Vancouver Mom Blogger. My phone had some notifications go off and I saw the email “Top 30 Bloggers… Congratulations” My blog has won the 2014 Top 30 Blogger.

Peonies are such happy flowers!! I love them and I’m so glad I have a garden where they grow (surprisingly because I have a bit of a black thumb).
