LEGENDS WHISTLER CREEKSIDE

We love discovering new places to stay when we travel as a family, especially in areas that we often visit, such as Whistler. Most recently we were introduced to Legends Whistler Creekside. Boy are we glad to have found this place! It’s the ideal place for families.
We’ve travelled to Whistler a lot over the years and have always stayed in The Village. With our oldest daughter beginning to get to go see Snow we decided to book a little trip there for a mini staycation. With it being the winter season things book up quickly but we were offered a stay at Legends Whistler Creekside, to be honest, we may never stay in The Village again.
Instantly upon pulling up – after a longer than usual drive thanks to two grumpy little girls – we were warmly greeted and quickly checked into our suite. We had a two bedroom suite for two nights, that alone was a game changer for when we go on vacation. Normally we try to get a one bedroom suite somewhere with two beds, we know we can manage with this. Two bedrooms…. it was glorious!
We may not be able to go back to just a one bedroom suite when we travel, sure we could do it, but being able to put the girls into their own room for the night was so wonderful. We were able to stick to the bedtime routine, it threw them off a smidgen because at home they have their own room, so they did party a little but it worked.
The suite was absolutely gorgeous it’s like being in your own little condo in Whistler, it was perfect for our family of 4 but could easily work for up to 6 people. The two bedroom suites are 839 to 965 square feet. Plenty of room! It had a gorgeous fully furnished kitchen which was a huge help to us because we were able to bring food up with us and make our own meals. The fireplace in the living room is what won me over, it was a large stone fireplace that warmed the room instantly and just added to the atmosphere.
The one room had a king bed, and the other room had two twin beds. Evie quickly declared the bed her princess bed because it looked like it had a crown on top of it. – Legends you won her over instantly! The best part though just might be the fact that each bedroom had a bathroom. Our preschooler was able to go use the washroom on her own in the night if needed and not wake everyone else up.
If you family wants to hit the slopes you can do so easily when staying Creekside because Legends is just steps away from the Whistler Creekside Gondola. We could actually watch everyone lining up in the morning to go up the mountain, the girls loved this. They kept looking for people wearing pink.
If you do not want to cook your own meal the proximity to the Creekside Village allows the guests of Legends to pop out for dinner. There are 15+ restaurants within walking distance. You better believe we found the nearest Tim Hortons that was only a short couple minute walk away. Perfect for an early morning coffee run.
There are all sorts of amenities available to guests at Legends. There’s your usual lounge area, as well as pool and hot tube outside, there’s even BBQs available to be used. We loved the large outdoor fireplace near the pool. Great to warm up if you are just out there keeping an eye on your family, plus it just adds to the atmosphere. As a family though with little kids, it was the children’s games room that really won us over.
The games room was full of all sorts of toys that the girls happily played with. Jason quickly stated we should just spend the day in there with how happy the girls were. There were also two Nintendo Wii U stations. While I suck at playing video games, Jason loved this feature… he’s a big kid at heart. Having a space like this available to those travelling with kids is wonderful because sometimes you just cannot pack all the toys and the kitchen sink when you go somewhere. There was no need for us to pack anything like that with this available to the girls. While we didn’t put it to use there was a lot a little movie viewing area where you can put a movie on to watch in comfort as a family. Legends has thought of everything to help families have a fantastic trip!
Legends has quickly become one of our favourite places we have ever stayed at in Whistler. We loved being Creekside instead of the hustle and bustle of being in the Village. We found it to be a bit quieter (minus the craziness of the movie festival that was happening the weekend of our trip) and more relaxing. We still popped over to The Village, as it was a short little drive over, and did all of our favourite activities there. Going to Legends was the first time in awhile that we actually felt somewhat relaxed when going away with two little kids.
Disclosure: We were provided with accomodations in order to facilitate this review. All opinions shared are 100% our own. We are sharing about it with you because we loved our stay here and would go again in an instant!

This looks incredible! Exactly what part of Canada is this located? My family may be moving there in a year or so, so I’m trying to learn all about Canada now! Haha.
