We are going on a little blogging and social media break for a week. Why? Well, 1) it’s needed and 2) we are going to be on an island in the middle of the ocean with no cell service, no wifi and limited technology. Did you know there is such thing as social media withdrawal? It’s good to put all things techy aside for a bit because sometimes you need a break!
Summer vacation has officially started for us and we’re headed to one of our favourite places on Earth…. Anvil Island. The girls are coming with us and it’s going to be a busy but fun week. We volunteer at the camp, we actually pay to volunteer. For some reason, that fact seems to surprise people. Anvil is a place that means a lot to us and we feel called to serve there.
Sometimes you also need a coffee, a large coffee. Jason likes his coffee pretty much black and Tamara has become a fan of iced coffees. As parents, we sure have consumed our fair share of caffeinated beverages. Next week, we will definitely be needing some coffee now and then, sadly it won’t be from Tim Hortons or Starbucks. The nights can be late at camp and the mornings very, very early. We know some of you could also use a good cup of coffee too, or perhaps an iced capp?
WE HAVE A GIVEAWAY FOR YOU!
