THINGS HAPPEN, PLANS CHANGE
We were supposed to take family photos. Unfortunately, things happen, plans change and we had to postpone the photo session. It also meant we were all dressed up with nowhere to go. Jason was the one who suggested that we set up the camera and go out to the yard to take some photos ourselves.
He lugged the baby, camera, and tripod out to the yard and got everything set up. We don’t have a remote for our camera but he is able to use the Canon Connect App to connect his phone to the camera and use that like a remote while taking photos when he was in them.
EVERYONE ATTEMPTING TO GET THE BABY TO SMILE
If you follow us on Instagram you saw the behind the scenes of these photos. Everyone was attempting to get the baby to smile. The older girls were jumping up and down and making silly noises. There was clapping and so much more. All to get her attention.
I guess you can say it worked. Orie’s got this funny nose crinkle she does lately. Which we finally have in photos thanks to this. We also realized that she can raise one eyebrow like The Rock.
GIVE IT A TRY
While these may not have been the photos we were expecting to take, they have quickly become some favourites. Maybe you have your heart set on photos but with everything going on right now you may not be able to. Why not give taking your own photos a try? If you don’t have a big fancy camera, cell phones can take some pretty decent photos lately *Did I ever tell you I won a photo contest with a cell phone photo?* You can set phones up with a timer app and everything.
