With it being so close to the end of the school year you can tell that staff and students are all entering the “I am done” phase. With all of the beautiful weather we have been having I can’t blame the students for all wanting to be outside because I am right there with them. I was so thankful that the May long weekend was here. It was needed. We crammed a lot of stuff into the weekend, as best we could, because Jason was also working evenings two days out of the three day weekend. You have to make the most of it right?
We made sure to get outside as much as possible. Little miss decided it would be fun to run through the garden hose as I was watering all the plants around our yard, and she also decided that it was a brilliant idea to eat dirt. Oh well, it helps the immune system right? There was also a movie night tossed in for good measure.

How neat is it that you can see the roots of our veggie plants? I need to pull some of them out to make room, I may try to replant them in another container.

What are some of your favourite kids movies? We need some more options. I think it may be time to invest in some classic Disney movies.

At the playground while it was raining. She wasn’t phased by it. We did get back to the car just in time before it really started to pour.

I made some home made crackers thanks to Tairalyn of Little Miss Mama getting the idea in my head, and this great recipe from Mama Papa Bubba http://mamapapabubba.com/2012/04/29/homemade-cheddar-crackers/
