We had a really laid back weekend. Everly has recently become very interested in playing peek-a-boo, I love hearing her joy filled giggles when she is playing this with us, or even on her own.
Wearing my current favourite pajamas for her from Target. Even Jason has commented on how fun they are since they glow in the dark. Everly got something very special in the mail this week. More on their cuteness in a future post. Little Miss was very determined to help unpack our bag of goodies from Target, I think she was just being very smart and trying to find a way to get to the chocolate treats.
We were invited to a harvest party and had a lovely time. It was really laid back, which was so nice as a parent. The whole thing actually wrapped up just after 7pm… you know you are a parent when? Everly really liked playing with the balloons at the party, we had to make sure there were enough for sharing as one of her friends also enjoyed playing with them too, thus the tears. Yes our daughter does have moments of crying. We are trying to find ways to let Everly feed herself, she is stubborn and likes to be independent already (I think I have caught glimpses of future teenage Everly) and will not let us feed her. For now we are just accepting the mess, even if it means Cheerios all over the floor.
