THREE MONTHS OLD
Orie is now 24 inches and 14.6 lbs. She’s finally starting to fill out her clothing a bit more. Sleepers are still the go-to because they are just so much easier with a little one.
We’ve dubbed her our “est” baby. Smiley-est. Giggly-est. Chunky-est. Bubbly-est.Poosplosion-est. Yes, poosplosion-est. Sorry kiddo, but it must be because you have been nursing more than your big sisters ever did. Thankfully outfits have been saved with the help of laundry stain sticks.
We are all getting lots of giggles and smiles from her now. Stinky and bubbles are two of her favourite words and get plenty of giggles out of her. She will giggly the most for Daddy. It’s adorable to see. She adores her older sisters who always get her attention.
She continues to not be a fan of nap time. They are a constant struggle. Jason will take her for walks in the stroller or in the carrier in the morning to try and get her to have a decent nap in the morning. Any other naps through the day she wants to be sleeping on someone. We don’t dare put her down once she goes to sleep on us because she will wake up. For now, we soak in the cuddles. With the horrible naps, she has become a very consistent nighttime sleeper. So I guess we’ll take that. We’re hoping she’ll start having better naps in the bassinette soon.
We have noticed that if we’re eating near her, she is eyeing up our food. Guess she’s like her sister Addie in this way. She was interested in food very early on too.
Bath time continues to be her favourite. It’s like she’s a different kiddo when in the tub, definitely a water baby. Splashing all over the place and so happy while in the water.
