Who has managed to hide all of the candy from trick-or-treating the other day? We haven’t yet, there is still lots floating around. We wanted to keep things simple today and look back at what trick-or-treating during Halloween this year was like.
Evie wanted a Peter Pan theme months ago. She wanted everyone in the family to dress as a different character, which actually worked really well. First, she had school though and the night before she asked if she could wear her Ariel costume, but we vetoed that one. A long dress just wasn’t practical for school. Instead, she went with her Cinderella dress and Daddy got Addie into the mouse costume so that she could be Gus Gus and join in on the fun.
In the evening we continued with tradition, which meant going to the Grandparent’s house and trick-or-treating in that neighborhood. We had Wendy Darling, Tinker Bell, Peter Pan, and a Lost Boy. Plus a whole lot of pixie dust. Both of the girls had a feature that glowed in the dark on their costume to make it easy to see them. We also brought our little wagon, which was great because Addie did not last long and settled into the wagon while Evie kept going.
The girls had a great time going around and Evie may already be requesting another movie theme for next year!

We hid ours that frost night. The kids didnr ask for a treat for days. I probably could have given it away and they would never have known π
