Recently I’ve been stepping back and totally amazed at the relationship between my daughter’s grow. They have become dear friends and it’s strongly evident.
Each morning Evie begs to go to Addie and tell her good morning and to give her a hug. Addie will always stand up in her crib immediately upon seeing her and reach over the railing to greet her sister.
In the car when I look in the rearview mirror I can often spot them holding hands. There have even been times where they have fallen asleep in the car holding hands.
Addie is not afraid to show affection to the ones she loves. Multiple times a day though she will run up to her sister and get hugs from her.
Evie is also very protective of her sister and will always be sure she is safe… which often involves her yelling at the top of her lungs to let us know if she things Addie is doing something she shouldn’t be.
If we are out for a walk somewhere the two of them can be found walking along hand in hand. It’s the sweetest to see.
Bedtime they like to have story time together. Addie will climb up into Evie’s bed, snuggling in beside her. We’ll read the book together with Evie saying the parts she knows and Addie turning pages.
This is just a little glimpse onto their friendship. I love seeing their relationship start to become so strong. I hope they are always close to one another. I know they will have their moments as siblings always do, but my prayer is that they will always have the best relationship and be near and dear to one another.
When did you notice that your little ones were truly becoming friends?

Your girls are so sweet! Zoe is crazy affectionate too, I don’t know that Ava appreciates it as much as I appreciate watching Zoe hug her! Maybe the age difference?

This is so sweet. My two have sweet moments, but at least half of the time they’re bickering with each other. I soak up the times when they’re getting along and try to laugh at the rest while playing referee. Love that your girls have such a bond at a young age.

When lil sis started walking and interacting they started bonding. Big sis still has a hard time sharing her toys and space but when they play together my heart just bursts!
