We have all been going back and forth between feeling well and being under the weather. It had meant a lot of cuddles from this little cutie, but I think she knows that mommy had needed them.
Sensory bins were a huge help in keeping Evie entertained over spring break. Sure they can be messy but it’s worth the smile on her face.
Someone has not been a fan of sitting in her high chair and eating recently. Trying to figure out a solution to that.
We visited some friends in Deep Cove, and got to play at the beach. I always love seeing Evie play with other kids. Her personality comes out so much more. I need to try and plan more play dates.
Jason and I went on a much needed date night thanks to a friend of mine sneakily planning my encouragement gift (more on that another time). She organized everything to surprise me. We enjoyed a night out together to dinner and a movie.
Lots of play time this past week. That’s the one thing I love about my days off. Getting to have time as a family dieting the day, not just two hours after Evie wakes up from her nap and then needs to go to bed. That time is always so rushed because often manking dinner, etc… gets crammed into that time. Evie went down the slide all on her own several times this week. She was so proud of herself. She isn’t a baby any more, she is definitely a little person.
I had to return a mug Jason got me for Christmas. Sadly the decorations were all coming off so it wad no longer a colour changing mug. We are now on the hunt for the perfect chai tea as to can see from the top photo. Does anyone have a favorite?

I found David’s ‘Organic Pure Chai’ to be the best I have tried so far.

I will have to try that one next time I am at the mall. I have decided to sample all of them as a made up cup of tea from the store before I buy any 😀
