Have you seen the very darling BabyLit board books? We were introduced to them soon after Evie was born, and have been adding more of them to our board book collection ever since. If you want to introduce some of the classic stories to your littles, but in a way that works for them you definitely want to check out BabyLit books, I cannot recommend them enough.
BabyLit books are the perfect primer books. They introduce your children to stories you know and love, and that they surely will too as they get older, but they also help them learn about the world around them. I love that the creators have taken classic novels, and made them child friendly. The different books in the BabyLit collection cover things like colour, emotions, weather, and flowers. It is all done through the stories of The Wizard of Oz, Emma, Les Miserable, The Secret Garden, and so many others.
The books are absolutely beautiful, and made very well. Some of our books are 3 years old and still going strong. This is with having survived several family vacations, being tossed in diaper bags, and bouncing around in the back of the car. The books are still going strong.
Both of my kids are drawn to the bright colours, and the incredible illustrations… which I also love too. You’ll love how they look on your kid’s bookshelf, but you’ll really appreciate how this also draws your child in to wanting to pick them at story time. BabyLit books will captivate your children, and help them as they learn. This is something I really appreciate about BabyLit, the fact that they believe in the power of reading.
If a million copies of our books encourage just one parent to read with their child, we will have succeeded.
Your children are going to want you to read them these books, and you will not hesitate to sit down with them. They are books for the whole family to enjoy. BabyLit has very kindly provided the opportunity for one Discovering Parenthood reader to win a $20 shop credit. So, won’t you join us all in reading some classic literature to your kiddos?
Enter through the rafflecopter below, good luck everyone!
